Abstract

Rahayu Nanang: "The Effect of Guided Imagery Therapy on Psychological Stres of Patients with Chronic Kidney Failure (GGK) Underwent Hemodialysis at Panembahan Senopati Hospital in Bantul Yogyakarta in 2020" Background: Health Research results in Yogyakarta have a prevalence rate of chronic kidney failure of 0,5% of the 3,8 million population of Yogyakarta. In Panembahan Senopati Bantul Hospital, there were date on 192 chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis, 4 hemodialysis patients said they were stressed by their disease. Hemodialysis patients need therapy or treatment to reduce stress levels. Objective: To determine the effect of guided imagery therapy on psychological stres in patients with chronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis at Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul Yogyakarta in 2020 Methods: The type of research used is Pre-experimental with a quantitative approach that uses the One Group Pretest Posttest design. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire totaling 14 questions. The number of samples was 38 people with purposive sampling technique. Statistical tests using the Wilcoxon Sigend Rank Test. Conclusion : There is an effect of guided imagery therapy on the psychological stres of patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at Panembahan Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta Hospital in 2020. Suggestion: For further researchers, it can be used as a reference for developing other research.
