Abstract
Anxiety is one of the challenges that students who are studying English as a second language must overcome. According to Ketsman (2012) and Yilmaz (2011), a teacher's efficacy has an impact on the performance and accomplishment of their students. One of a teacher's responsibilities is to lower anxiety levels in the classroom by fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment. It's critical to understand foreign language learners' anxiety levels for this reason. The current study used the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) developed by Horwitz et al. to examine how anxious the students felt about learning a foreign language, in this case, English. The current investigation used a survey design. The goal of this approach is to characterize patterns among a sizable individual population (Creswell, 2012). According to the study's findings, nervous pupils were frequently found in English classes. The three elements that made up the research instrument all had varied degrees of impact on the participants' moderate level of anxiety in the current study.
